The IXIO-DT1 (often branded under BEA, a company within the ASSA ABLOY group) is a highly reliable dual-technology sensor designed for commercial automatic sliding doors. It combines microwave technology for motion-based door activation with active infrared technology for pedestrian presence safety. It is requently configured for Besam automatic door systems like the SL500. Dual Technology Integration - Uses microwave Doppler radar to activate the door when someone approaches, alongside active infrared (IR) safety curtains to prevent the door from closing on anyone standing in the threshold.
