The top cover section has a drip edge and protects the open exhaust pipe from rain and snow, while the surrounding mesh serves as a debris and animal guard. To create a smooth, uniform airflow all around and minimize air pressure losses, there is an aerodynamic shape, an “inlet cone,” in the center. Patent pending. Made on 3D printer.
