PROTECTION AND PROVIDES A SLIGHT “SHEEN”… WITHOUT ALTERING THE BASE COLOR. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Olde World MatteKote Sealer is a one-part modified acrylic polymer sealer that top coats and protects cementitious tiles and concrete. Olde World MatteKote Sealer seals out and beads water. Interior or Exterior, non-yellowing formula dust-proofs, helps protect from the sun, and offers a clear satin sheen. It helps protect and prolong the color and appearance of the substrate from oil, salt, sunlight, etc. This easy to apply, water-based, environmentally friendly formula cleans up with water. Do not apply if rain is imminent. Top coating with Super-Sealer Wax is recommended on interior applications. APPLICATION: One two-application coat of Olde World MatteKote Sealer should be applied to tile upon removal from mold if it is to be used as an aid to curing. It may be applied to a damp or dry surface at temperatures about 50 degrees F. Apply with a sponge, “floating” the surface with the sealer. Apply in one direction, then within five minutes in the other direction. (North-South, then East-West). Saturate tile, but do not allow it to puddle on tile surface. If the tile rejects the second coating, you waited too long to apply it. It will bead up at that point. DRYING TIME: 3 hours for foot traffic, 24 hours for automobile traffic. COVERAGE: Approximately 200-400 square feet per gallon depending on porosity of substrate. CLEANUP: Cleanup with water. Olde World MatteKote Sealer beautifies brick, stone, cementitious tiles, and concrete. It seals out and beads water. Interior and exterior, non-yellowing, formula dust-proofs, helps protect from the sun, and provides a clear satin sheen. It helps protect and prolong the color and appearance of the substrate from oil, sunlight, etc. OTHER SEALERS AVAILABLE FROM OLDE WORLD: StoneKote: A water-based penetrating sealer that does not alter the appearance of the substrate. GlossKote: A water-based sealer offering protection with a glossy shine. GlazeKote: A solvent-based sealer offering protection with an ultra-glaze, deep, shine. The “HOW TO” process of making stone and tile is so simple… virtually anyone can do it! It’s like making a cake! But no oven is needed! HERE’S HOW… 1. Lubricate the molds… a light vegetable oil will do if you don’t have mold release. 2. Mix a bag of pre-mix concrete… get a shovel, water, and something to mix it in. 3. Add some concrete color, which is optional… unless you want just plain gray. 4. Pour mix into molds… vibrate a bit to compact concrete and release air bubbles. 5. Let the filled molds sit a day or so, undisturbed… over-night is fine. 6. Carefully flip the molds over the next day… and pop out what you’ve created from the mold! That is obviously a simplified version of the process, but it is that easy. And FREE instructions and email support are included with each purchase. WE ALSO OFFER OUR COLORANTS IN ONE-POUND AND FIVE-POUND BAGS. OR YOU CAN ORDER A SPECIAL “SET OF FIVE” CONSISTING OF ONE POUND, OR FIVE-POUNDS OF EACH OF OUR FIVE BASE COLORS.
