Heavy Duty universal door chocks Name says it all, the Alumichock holds your door open. Alumichock is made from 6061 aluminum and features precision tig welded construction so it’s tough and wont rust. And its built to last, made in the good ole USA. Constructed from lightweight and rust resistant aluminum, this is an improved version of the one I previously offered in steel… Works great for around the home, construction, industrial applications, very handy for structural firefighting and ems, or wherever else you need a door to stay open… Should work for the majority of hinged doors, also for securing overhead doors open (place in or along track) Approximately 2 3/4” diameter ring, it is slightly bulky if stored in bunker pants pocket for example, however it stows nicely on a helmet with a rubber band. Not as slim as some of the other designs out there but it makes up for that by being extremely sturdy. Eliminates the potential of being inadvertently knocked out of place which is possible with a standard door wedge.. Handy for holding doors open while handling patients/moving a cot in and out of a building… Helpful for holding a door open during positive pressure ventilation. Useful in any situation the door needs to be held open, commercial building owners, construction, delivery drivers, carpentry, tradesmen, homeowners, property management… Offers a higher tolerance for heat and abuse vs. Comparable plastic products DISCLAIMER….this is a piece of metal. It is not soft like rubber…therefore it DOES have the potential to scratch, mar, dent or otherwise damage the surface of a door jamb. This was designed primarily with structural firefighting and industrial applications in mind. If potential cosmetic damage to surfaces is a concern please consider other methods.
