Pack of 150 vintage copper roofing rivets/pins/clips/discs for old style shingles & siding. These roof fasteners are very hard to find any more but needed for the restoration of original roofing on historic homes and buildings. They were also used for slate tiles and mineral fiber siding in the United States from around 1905 to the 1960s. These fasteners came from a 1950s cement/mineral fiber shingle roof in Arizona. The discs are approx. 5/8″ Dia. and the pins are approx. 1/16″ Dia. x 3/4″ long. Please understand that these fasteners are used and bent. Most will need to be straightened out using pliers, but copper can be bent back quite easily without breaking, in most cases. They are being sold as-is. The 4th photo shows one inserted through the pre-drilled holes in 2 vintage shingles, then bent over to hold the shingles together. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************* Please enlarge, view and use all of the photographs as part of the item description.
